The time has come to enjoy the much-awaited game of the year, Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2. The free to play team battle action game which was previously announced back in July has finally got a release date which is only a week away. The game can be experienced in Play Station 4 and is a console exclusive.

A western release date has finally been announced for mobile suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 and surprisingly the news have been dropped by a blog run by Sony named The Drop.

The game has various modes of gameplay and has a standalone storyline. It revolves around a 6 person team battle in a 3D space environment or on planetary maps and puts the player in control of a mobile battle suit called Gundam.

What adds a variety is a feature to leave the mech and fight on foot. Also, there are weapons outside of the mechs to choose from and has a whole new level of strategy to pull off the game.

There is an impressive collection of Mobile suits to choose from and the constant growth of mech, keep the players hooked. Added to this, Zeong and MLRS variant of Gundam GPO2 was added to the game.

Gained through an in-game store or a gacha system, the roaster can be brought with on-game currency or usual gacha systems and will include micro transactions. Japan has increased the priority of gacha systems and is mostly free.

During a poll conducted in August by Bandai Namco to check what fans want for free on the launch day, the following result showed up:

Zaku 1 (GS) from Zeonic Front

Blue Destiny Unit – 1 from Side Story: The Blue Destiny

Gundam Pixie from CRoss Dimension 0079

Guncannon Mass Production Type from War in the Pocket

Gundam RX-78-2 from Mobile Suit Gundam

Gundam Ground Type from 08th MS Team

Full Armor Gundam from Mobile Suit Variation

Dwadge from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ

Gouf Custom from 08th MS Team

Xamel from Stardust Memory

Already available in Japan and Asia, the game will see a full release on October 1 in both North America and Europe.
