With numerous great open sandbox designed games around the corner like the most iconic one being Grand Theft, the Saints Row series is not lagging much behind. Both games nurture a nonlinear story and progression system which allows the player to go around racing or building up a gang whenever they want.

It was only in 2013 when the last installment of the game, Saints Row 4 got released and then finally received a major expansion in 2015. Since then there has been no news on the continuation of the game until now.

According to Koch Media CEO, more on the new Saints Row game will be revealed next year. Klemens Kundratitz revealed that the game is currently under development.

The much-awaited Saints Row 5 is finally expected to be released sometime next year and more news about the project will be released sometime later next year as said by Klemens.

The game is a passion project for Klemens and his team needs to be curated perfectly unless he makes sure everything is on point. Fans might not appreciate the news but as they say, all good things come after a long wait so as of now Klemens is trying to cover any details about his dream project.

This can now be well expected that the game is about to bring some really good visuals and game play for all which is actually a good thing.

Volition who had previously worked on all the previous Saints Row games is the developer of the current project. This is good news for all those gamers who have enjoyed the various parts of the Saints Row franchise over all these years.

Having said that, the excitement for the game release has increased even more Volition has the chance to do several incredible things like include new vehicles, or customize the characters and plan new branching plots, etc.

However, everything is still under speculation as any revelation will only be made in 2020. But fans be assured that the project is rolling in the right direction with Volition handling the game with utmost care.
