The infamous organization which is also legendary as they give out mousepads and took part in e-sports’ early development is back with a bang in the League of Legends.

The last player was announced yesterday about the main LCS roster. He is none other than Froggen, the golden boy. The team is rounded up by the best player and he is famous for this and it is further improved with his vast experience and shot-calling. Dignitas Purchases Froggen From Golden Guardians To Finalize The 2020 LCS Roster.

Before the year 2017 ends, news floated about franchising of LCS in NA and applications have to be submitted by organizations so that they can participate in the e-sports League and take it forward. Among the OG teams, Dignitas was one of them as it was not accepted in the 2018 season of NA LCS and shortly after it was disbanded.

More than a year has been absent from the scene of League of Legends and in 2019 April, it has been reported by an insider that it has been agreed by Dignitas so that a controlling share is bought for Clutch Gaming, which is an LCS team that has been newly franchised is going to join the 2018 season of NA LCS from the Houston Rockets of NBA.

The team has been announced, and it will rebrand itself to Dignitas by the end of the 2019 World Championship. The same year, in June there has been a formalization of the deal officially and the announcement came for everyone who was in the scene. It has been reported in April, that it was announced by the team as there will not be any kind of rebrand till the season ends, but there has been supporting from social media along with prompt administration that is being provided to the social media of Dignitas. On the player’s t-shirts, the logo of Dignitas was embedded to reflect the update.

The LCS season 2020 roster goes as follows:

Top-Huni (Top laner of former Clutch gaming)

Jungler-Grig(TSM Jungler Former)

Mid-Frogen(Golden Guardians Mid Laner Former)

ADC-Johnsun(TSM Academy ADC, former)

Support-Aphromoo (100 Thieves support, former)

The team has been expected by the players, as it qualified as the 3rd seed of NA for the World Championship so that they can stick together, especially for the rookie Damonte who is the promising mid-laner and there were different plans made by the organization. Most of the players were released by the team for the main roster, only leaving out Huni, who is the former world champion of SKT, as they agreed upon to resign for a 2-year contract for 2,300,000 dollars.

Since no news has been revealed by the organization regarding the upcoming players of LCS, certain rumors arise regarding who is going to sign as early rumors floated about Froggen as he kept silent throughout the off-season and the mid-laners were acquired by other teams. It seems mostly correct regarding the initial rumor and it was signed by Froggen a couple of days ago and it was officially announced yesterday.

Regarding the support role and jungler, they have proved themselves in LCS and are veterans in the game who can hold on to the ground. The untested player and prediction are difficult to make are the ADC, Johnsun , who in the previous split was TSM Academy ADC.

It does not seem that the roster can be a contender for the championship and upsets can be pulled by them if a synergy is built during the season’s early stages.
