Payday 2 got a good start as he community was very engaged and happy and to everybody’s surprise not toxic in its entirety in the PvE title that is cooperative which features business partners who are four in number and has run heists all across the globe. The microtransactions started then after buyers were promised by Overkill Studios that they are not going to have microtransactions, as the community got divided between those who are about to hold the Overkills feet in the fire so that they can go back on their word and others were merely indifferent as they are very much cosmetic. Overkill And Payday Franchise Likely In Trouble As Starbreeze Issues Culminate.

The full rights are then purchased by Starbreeze for the franchise and microtransactions are entirely removed from the title as they were rejoicing about the fact. Additional content of a surprising amount of $88 is currently available in the title for purchase as all of it involves various kinds of the heist which is running a price somewhere between $7 to $2 as it created a divide in the community.

It happened to so many people that they never made their way back up to the title, although it is somehow managed by Payday 2 so that their reviews can be turned on Steam from a negative perspective to a positive one with the removal of the transaction.

But on 11th December 2019, a strange announcement is made by Overkill as some issues are betrayed at the development studio. According to the latest release of Switch Port coming from Payday 2 will not get any further updates two months after the release. A strange announcement has been made and some rumors began circulating immediately in the industry about the studio.

In the earning reports of Star Breeze which came out most recently, a loss of $12 million has been shown in the year 2019 as 99% of the income was contributed by Payday 2. The staggering amount that has been lost is not enough for the most casual players even to stand u for a few moments and take due cognizance by checking twice or thrice as the numbers are read correctly by them. A historic low has been experienced by them in the year 2018 as it marks consecutive two years of struggles.

Almost about quarter of the staff in entirety has been laid off by Starbreeze recently as this is an attempt to streamline the process and cut costs and it has been reported by them that they are almost back on track as Payday has been supported as there are two more tricks up their sleeves. This is a very incident that happened only two days ago.

Today, Starbreeze’s executive who is still unnamed has been arrested on charges for insider trading. Before the fact that the company started posting financial reports regarding their struggles, allegation charges were raised against two executives who have allegedly sold the majority of the company shares as the stock went on to crash. Bo Andersson, who has been the CEO has stepped down from the rank and position as he was arrested on charges of insider trading and he is one of the many those who have been arrested for this illegal practice. He was cleared off the criminal charge as it came to be known that he has been forced to sell the shares.

According to reports, the second executive has remained nameless as he has been fined an amount of roughly $60,000 and it appears that the person has been convicted.

Starbreeze is still looking out desperately for a partner for publishing for Payday 3 as they are hoping quite clearly that the sinking-ship will come to the right. Presently, the outlook is none other than promising.
