The new adventure has begun already for Cooper Hefner and Scarlett Byrne as they embark on a journey of parenthood. Cooper, son of Hugh Hefner has told E! News that their daughter was born on Monday 24th August at 5.23 p.m. The baby weighing 6 pounds and 5 ounces and the mother is in good health.

Cooper shared the news in an exclusive statement and introduced the world with their daughter whom they named Betsy Rose Hefner. He also said that in the weeks to come, they are looking forward to staying at home and spending time together as a family as everyone welcomes the new baby in the weeks to come.

When asked about how her name came to be, new dad Cooper said that she has been named after Betsy Aldridge-Conrad, his grandmother who sadly left the world in July 2020. He also added that his grandmother was extremely close to both him and his wife.

Cooper and his wife Scarlett announced their pregnancy in March. The news came a few months after 28-year-old entrepreneur Cooper married Scarlett, the 29-year-old British actress in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles.

The couple has been together for over six years. The question of marriage was popped by the celebrity heir to The Vampire Diaries actor back in 2015.

Cooper left the media empire of Playboy in 2019 and launched his own media company back in 2019. However, all his plans were put on hold when he got listed in the U.S. Air Force. Since that time, his career course has changed again as he also plans on becoming a part of the scope of politics.

Back in July, he launched an exploratory campaign for running for California Senate in its 30th district that includes Los Angeles.

Although, as of now, the main focus of the couple is on their daughter. They told E! News that their lives are filled with inexplicable joy and this is the happiest they have been.
