Katy Perry completes a month of motherhood just today and she has publicly announced that her appreciation for all the parents around the world has magnified tremendously. The singer took o Twitter to bust the social misconception that being a mother is not a full-time job.

In fact, she clarified further saying that when a new mother goes back to her job after their maternity leave, it is not that she joined her work after spending a long vacation but she is coming from a full-time job at home of being a mother. Fans suggest this might hint her come back in the studio after the hiatus.

After clarifying the myth, she also said that every mother in this world is entitled to personalized gratitude. She urged her fans to call their mothers and tell them time and again how much love and appreciate her and also advocate for paid family leaves.

Daisy Dove Bloom is just a month old and is far from voicing her own opinions or gratitude but Katy says she finds doing her job as a mother on Twitter.

Following the birth of their daughter, the pop star said that she is gradually getting habituated to the schedule and rhythm of the newborn baby and this is taking a significant toll on her sleeping cycle.
