The primary goal of this project is to enhance cross-border cooperation (CBC) in the energy sector by a process of language localization of a text analytic software, thereby promoting appropriate CBC connections as well as sharing knowledge in order to foster sustainable and value-added exploitation of novel market research in the energy sector.

The consortium staff has experts from several domains, including energy industry experts, data analysts, and IT developers. The team works with market-leading software localized in six new Eastern European languages, including Croatian, Hungarian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Czech, and German.

About SMAPWORKS

SMAPWorks provides Social Media Analytics Reports and SMA Platform Services. Using Big Data and AI technology, the platform has the capacity to analyze millions of posts in one minute.

The senior Analyst of the company also said that their system also offers an ideal way to monitor the competition industry.

“In vain, a company manager might be happy to have received a million posts in a week if he doesn’t know how much he had a month earlier, or how his two biggest competitors are doing. If we were to find out, that the competition received 10 million posts, the result is not so positive anymore,” he illustrated the difference.

The expert also said that they worked with a similar processing system at a large IT company and learned a lot about what this methodology can be applied to answer specific business questions and how to apply the method in real-life practice.

“When a large tech giant company started making tablets, it wanted to bring an exemplary product to the market that could set a benchmark for partner companies.

Knowing that there were a lot of fanatics camping at the shops, the day before launching the shops and testing the tablets right away and then publishing the results, we immediately evaluated the feedback so we could fix the problems quickly, saving a good few tens of millions of dollars.” he added.
