Following his fallout from the controversy on social media, actor Armie hammer has exited another project.

He was part of the upcoming Paramount+ series The Offer which was based on the making of The Godfather. Armie was supposed to play Hollywood producer, Al Ruddy whose perspective would have told the story in the series.

This move was instigated after a scandal broke out earlier this month where it was alleged that the actor sent various women messages about his sexual desires.

The actor confirmed on January 19 that would also no longer be a part of the upcoming rom-com called Shotgun Wedding opposite Jennifer Lopez.

His statement said that he took this decision as the online attacks were distracting him and it was not possible for him to leave his children and go for the filming of the movie in the Dominican Republic for four months.

The production team of the movie also respected his decision to withdraw from the film.

An assortment of direct messages which were allegedly sent by Armie went viral.

He also apologized for referring to a woman as Miss Cayman in one of his Instagram videos. The video’s caption read that his wife and kids were staying in the Cayman Islands at that time. He had to go back but is not very enthusiastic about it. This is where he mentioned looking forward to having physical intimacy with Ms. Cayman.

His ex PaigeLorenze revealed that she went into a polyamorous open relationship in September 2020 that lasted a few months. She said that the actor was controlling regarding who she spends her time with. She also shared that she felt anxious and sick during the relationship.

Armie’s team did not comment about the relationship.

His marriage with his wife Elizabeth ended in July 2020 after 10 years of togetherness. They have a 6-year-old daughter, Harper Grace, and a 4-year-old son Ford Douglas Armand.
