Five people were arrested for the charges of the theft of two of Lady Gaga’s dogs and the shooting of the dog walker. Lady Gaga’s dog walker was out with her three dogs on February 24th, when he was attacked and shot and two of the dogs got kidnapped in the armed robbery. The Grammy-winning singer even announced a $500000 reward for her French Bulldogs.

According to the police, the thieves did not know that the dogs belonged to Lady Gaga at the time of the robbery. They only wanted to steal the dogs because the value of French bulldogs can be as high as thousands of dollars.

At the time of the incident, one of the dogs escaped while two were taken by the thieves. Ryan Fischer, the dog walker described the attack as ‘a very close call with death in his social media posts. He is currently recovering from a gunshot injury.

On the night of 24th February, he took Lady Gaga’s three dogs, Koji, Asia, and Gustav to walk in Hollywood just off the famed Sunset Boulevard. He was suddenly attacked by two men on the road.

Police recovered a video from a doorbell camera of a home near where the incident happened. It shows that when Fischer was walking the dogs, a white sedan pulled up beside him and two men jumped out of it.

They struggled with Fischer as he resisted their attempts. One of them pulled a gun and fired at Fischer. After that, they fled from the scene taking the two dogs, Gustav and Koji with them.

In the video, it is seen that Fischer is screaming that he has been shot and he is bleeding out from his chest.

While Lady Gaga announced the reward of $500000 reward, she made it ‘no questions asked as she just wanted to be with her dogs again, who are very dear to her.

At that time, she was in the middle of a film shoot in Rome.

Only two days later the event, the two dogs were returned unharmed to an LAPD station. The police said at that time that the woman who returned the dogs seemed ‘uninvolved and unassociated’ with the whole crime.

Though the matter of whether the woman identified as 50-year-old Jennifer McBride on Thursday received the award or not is still unclear.

Police revealed that the woman was in a relationship with one of the suspects’ fathers.

Police arrested 27-year-old Lafayette Whaley, 18-year-old James Jackson, and 19-year-old Jaylin White on the charges of attempted murder and robbery.

Jaylin White’s father, the 40-year-old Harold White, and his girlfriend Jennifer McBride were also wrested on the charges of accessory attempted murder.

According to the police report, the Whites, Jackson, and Whaley are all recorded gang members.

They all were charged by the County District Attorney’s Office of Los Angeles. Each of them is being held at one million dollar bail.
