The long term fans of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is now excited as it is all set to debut in iOS. Already opened for pre-orders, the free to download game will carry over the PC version of the game. Players can share progress and purchases using a GOG account. However, Play station 4 and Xbox One progress cannot be transferred for some unknown reasons.

CD Projekt Red has revealed the devices which would support the game. iPhone 6s and newer, iPad Mini 4 and newer, iPad 5th Generation and newer, iPad Air 2 and newer and all iPad Pros along with newly announced iPhone modes will run the game successfully.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is coming to iOS  with players looking forward to having card advantage which is the goal for the victory. It is a turn-based card game where two players are involved. There are three rounds and during each turn, players tweak one card at a time of their custom Gwent decks.

Filled with several modes, the game is interesting throughout. Casual Play is for a non-competitive experience, whereas Rank Play is for players to climb the tier ladder system in the game. The Rank mode is a month-long season to increase rank before the end of the season.

Next comes the Arena Mode which functions as a draft creating decks of random cards. A deck is created by 26 cards. The player picks one out of four cards and passes the deck. It allows them to compete against each other to collect new cards to add to their Ranked and Casual decks.

Gwent also comes in a single-player campaign mode called Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. It is previously launched only for Windows in October 2018 and for Play station and Xbox One after two months.

Fans are excited as more news is yet to be revealed during a CD Projekt Red live stream on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm PT/4 pm CST/5 pm ET/ 10 pm BST. The game is all set to be released on October 29 for iOS and will be viewable on the studios Mixter, Twitch and YouTube channels. And, for those who can’t wait to try their hands on the new version, can always try the PC version of the game.
