So far The Last of Us by Naughty Dog is one of the best zombie survival games in the history of zombie apocalypse based video games in a decade. The game has two main characters- Joel and Ellie; around whom the whole plot of the game revolves. It’s a horror survival game that sets out in a post-apocalyptic world where Joel has to escort Ellie to home safely from the danger of those cannibalistic zombies. In this journey, they have to endure lot of dangers and unimaginable situations to survive in the game. This was the first chapter of the game and now they are thinking of coming with the next chapter. Though according to reports, The Last Of Us Part 2 By Naughty Dog Has Been Delayed  from its anticipated release date.

Initially, it set its release date in 2020, February 21 but it seems like the good time has not come yet. When the release date was announced, the fans went frenzied to play this highly anticipated game’s sequel on play station 4. There are some more developments needed to be done and that is why they rescheduled the release date by the month of May 2020. The players of this game were saddened due to this unpredictable delay but it is something inevitable according to Naughty Dog.

Neil Druckmann, the game director did something unconventional by writing up a letter for the fans regarding the reasons behind this unnecessary pushback. The game is delayed due to make more developments in the game to give the players a better experience. Moreover,he said that they could have just released the game on its planned due date but that would not be as remarkable as the polished version, so the delay was necessary.

The delay is unavoidable as they are determined to upgrade the standard of the game with more details and honed up developments that are necessary for chapter 2 as the bars have raised from the success of chapter 1 last time.  So the developers can’t really be blamed for asking more time.

They are making sure they deliver the best for their loyal fans as the developers are even very passionate about this project. They are also under tremendous pressure to finish the work in time but with stalling the release date, they finally can do their work with ease. But for the fans, this wait for a few more months is nothing compared to what they will have with overall advancement of the game.

Real lovers of The Last of Us will understand the situation and hold on to it instead of back lashing the developers for the delay. One good thing is that Naughty Dog has already reached out to the fans addressing the problem to give them time to cope up with the situation.

This game is undoubtedly on the hot list of the gamers and soon will come up with more surprises in the sequel of the game. It will be a phenomenal game for the PS4 and so it will be worth to wait.
