Steam has recently come up with the games listed on the top, along with the staple PC games it also includes new heavy-hitter games. The platform shows a list of 100 games that have performed better than others in terms of revenue.

100 games have been categorized by Steam based on the revenue they have generated in the platform.

12 Games Receive The Honors Of Being The Best Selling Steam Games Of 2019. These top 12 revenue performers came into the platinum list, the top 13th to 24th top sellers into the gold, the silver slot has been taken by game ranked 25th to 40th and Bronze to the rest, i.e, 41st to 100th.

Revenue is the primary criteria of this category. Certainly, that doesn’t only mean the sale of the game, it also implies the purchase of the DLC packs and microtransactions like content and cosmetic.

The twelve top sellers who have got into the platinum club makes an interesting contest:

Dota 2- Published in 2013, Charge: Free of Cost

Monster Hunter: World- Published in 2018, Charge:$23.99

PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds- Published in 2017, Charge:$14.99

The interesting part is that out of 12 games only 3 games have come out this year the rest nine has already been there since 2018.

For most of the Steam gamers, a few games on this list shouldn’t surprise them. As Dota 2 has gained severe popularity with its initial release in six years ago. There is also the esports community who are eagerly enthusiastic about the game and who pays millions of dollars per year.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is also a fascinating game which includes a thrilling esports scene and which also has a strong base of players since 2012.

Grand Theft Auto V continues to rock the gaming world, the same is with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Seige for Ubisoft.

A few of the games listed here are either of less pricy or free of cost, which is a test of how good work the developers have done to instigate the gamers to buy extra content.
