Ever wondered how beheading someone or gibing them with a sword feels like. Don’t worry, it is all about the Shadow Warrior franchise which precisely lets you do that.  Although it might sound childish the game is quite mature and allows you to slaughter the demons right in that manner.

The whole Shadow Warrior Franchise highlighted this weekend on Steam Platform along with four titles on a sharp 75% discount which also features the legendary warrior with a mouth, named Lo Wang.

The first title which is supposedly a remake titled Shadow Warrior features Lo Wang as Zilla Enterprises shogun-for-hire where he is ordered to get back a legendary blade from his shady employer. Going ahead he finds himself betrayed and left for dying which compels him to murder his way across a futuristic Japan in an outstanding FPS inhibiting a massive sense of style.

The death of so many combats seems satisfying where all the forearms are different and all of them are relatively powerful. Lo Wang gets gifted with some mystical powers that help to upgrade the carnage.

The scenario depicts that the game is not meant for the faint heart as gore cover the ground like magma and Lo Wang progresses with his blundering and abrupt sense of humor. For those who have healthy courage, there might be an FPS somewhere in there worth looking through.

However, the Shadow Warriors 2 changes the entire course and style of the game and brings in a cooperative play which ahs up to four players in total who walk around chopping off demons like its just a mere pass time more than a dreadful quest.

Along with the multiplayer, comes some other gritty elements as players require some random drops to upgrade their weapons as well as their selves, which brings in the ability to slaughter their tougher enemies.

There’s a lot to say about the thrill and enjoyment that comes with including friends into the title to slaughter the demons, the RNG aspects and the grind can thereby put some players off to it. This is certainly a major improvement and is hugely enjoyed apart from the enemies who somehow turn into bullet sponges, leaving the player to empty clip after clip or swing after swing until they finally expire.

Just like every other entertaining thing, the best was saved for the end: Shadow Warrior Classic Redux has finally been included in the Steam spotlight this weekend, which seems to be a faithful reimagining of the classic Shadow Warrior.

The player gets to play as Lo Wang before he becomes funny and hilarious as he has been portrayed in the previous two forays as he works again for the Zilla Corporation, and is seen slaying enemies and demons with reckless abandon.

It has not been much time since the developer of Shadow Warrior franchise; Flying Wild Hog has announced anything new hitting the PC. Well, this can also be a springboard or the long silence that prevails before something major and grand strikes the forum.
