Fallout 76 released back in October 2018 and the collective feedback on it was that it is probably the worst AAA releases in recent history owing to various technical drawbacks that interfered with the overall quality of their first-ever multiplayer title. Moreover, it seems like the developer of the title, Bethesda Softworks did not quite understand the requirements and demands of the gaming community in a multiplayer Fallout title like this one. At the same time, players were rather disinterested in partaking in its PvP.

Pete Hines, Bethesda Vice President Is Surprised at How Few People Wanted to Take Part in Fallout 76’s PVP as told in an interview with US Gamer. In the interview, he also spoke about his learning from the massive, failed launch of Fallout 76. The whole team of developers was taken aback by the audience’s reaction and how very few people showed interest in its PvP.

A handful of enthusiasts who were present at the PAX East event got a sneak peek into the upcoming expansion, Fallout 76 that has been titled Wastelanders and is up for a release on 7th April. The new expansion will be available for free downloads along with additional features like new human NPCs, quests, weapons, dialogue trees, and more.

Browsing through audience feedback, the most number of complaints regarding Fallout 76 is that there are very few interested people for the initial interaction and trading of game items. It looks like Bethesda Softworks has escalated the issue with the Wastelanders DLC.

The PAX East event, a 17 minute peek into the gameplay from the house of Wastelanders DLC was shown by Bethesda. The video is available online for those who are interested.

Just after the video demonstration, the team of Fallout 76 said that all of their extant robotic NPCs were written over and is in an interactive format. Hence, players who are interested can chat with them directly as opposed to just being informed regarding new quests.

The developers also put light on the reputation system of the game and said that the players can choose themselves whether they want to join hands with the raiders or the settlers. On top of that, players will also be able to explore the various questline factions before they finally decide on a particular group to join.

The release date for Fallout 76 Wastelanders DLC is 7th April and will be available for free download and installation.
