Horizon Zero Dawn now shows the ability to dance on the motion sick bodies of the PC gamers lying unconsciously on the floor is now coming to PC. This move has certainly enraged a vocal minority and many players are now excited to have the opportunity to be able to guide Aloy through an ever more outstanding edition of her world that remains filled with robotic animals and ancient technology that has gone wrong.

The Steam page which went live a while ago has let the interested players use that page to talk to the developers over at Guerilla Games over what they all can expect from the upcoming PlayStation 4 that has finally made its way to the PC.

The conversation that took place comprised majorly of dull and uninteresting questions and answers, mostly due to the clear lack of information that has been adopted on the Steam page for HZDF.

There was one such question that brought up FOV sliders which the Guerilla had answered in a manner that can probably allow the players to figure out without reading any further.

Horizon Zero Dawn Announced To Not Have FOV Sliders On The PC Port, Nausea Awaits. As per the conversation, the upcoming PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn will not entertain any FOV sliders which imply that many players will simply not find it playable anymore.

This piece of information may seem puzzling to all those players who are not much familiar with PC games as the inclusion of the FOV slider is a nonissue in regards to the console play.

For a clear visualization, think of the screen which is used for video games like a television or a PC monitor ton be the window into the game with many titles that have been crafted on console with the sheer expectation that the players will be sitting farther away from such that they get a narrow field of view.

Now when that narrow FOV comes to the PC, it throws everything a bit sideways, due to which the PC players suddenly look through a window which stays roughly a foot away in an aspect designed for sitting at least ten feet away.

This results in queue copious nausea to an extent that makes it unplayable for many gamers, and Guerrilla Games has all of a sudden cut down the count of possible players for their PC port by a striking sizeable quantity.

However, they aren’t the only or the first studio to have done so and the reason is typically as frustrating as the announcement itself.

The reason stated by the developer says that all of this is due to bad coding techniques which are similar to trying a physics engine to the frame rate of a title. By further trying several aspects to a set FOV which is typically regarding the spawning in of entities implies that by simply changing the FGOV, or worse yet would allow adjustable FOV, which in turn will throw the entire system sideways as it would attempt to tackle double the calls made in fractions of a second.

The absence of a FOV slider typically verifies this as the case. However, once the title comes to PC the developers might be able to explore the code most certainly.

The only thing which has been verified as of now is that the players will tend to experience motion sickness from which they would likely prefer to stay away from the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn. Given the circumstances, this is perhaps an unfortunate statement to make but all the gamers can do as of now is to wait.
