According to latest MLS News, Colorado Rapids who lost against the Real Salt Lake last night with 2-3 at home, has tied the worst ever start in the MLS championship.

After finishing eleven rounds of soccer, Rapids faced nine losses, and only two draws reaching Salt Lake’s start from the season 2007 when they also had straight eleven games without a single victory. But what distinguishes these two generations is the fact that Real had a fewer count of defeats, which is six along with five draws. And, this was also Colorado’s weight consecutive defeat.

As per the reports, the guests had a 0-2 lead after only twenty-seven minutes of the play. And, it was at the twenty-fifth minute when Sebastian Anderson had made a reckless challenge on Sebastian Saucedo inside the box. And it was at that moment that the referee did not know what to do, but after having reviewed the VAR system, he pointed towards the penalty spot.

As it showed that, Albert Rusnak beat Tim Howard to bring the lead to his team.

Surprisingly it was only two minutes later that Corey Baird doubled the lead. The reigning Rookie of the year had reportedly scored one of the finest goals in this campaign.

The match showed Justen Glad receiving the red card in the thirty-third minute, but after having checked the VAR, the officials revoked his decision, and the hosts finally remained with a total of eleven players on the pitch.

Moreover, the hosts went on to decrease Real’s lead in the third minute of the injury in the first half. And, it was Kellyn Acosta who netted, and that was indeed an initial spark for the hosts who immediately had leveled the score when the second half started.

It was after two minutes post the kick-off that Danny Wilson scored following a corner. The game took an edgy turn and went wild in the next fifteen minutes. Sam Johnson brought back the lead to the guests in the fiftieth minute by rushing in the box, and by also using Damir Kreilach’s pass.

It was some nine minutes after the game went by that the home team got a chance to tie once again when Donny Toia brought down Sam Nicholson inside the box, after which the referee awarded a penalty to Colorado.

News has it that Kei Kamara who had scored seven goals so far in the season was inexplicably bad from the spot, and Andrew Putna easily managed to save his spot.

As it ended that the guests maintained their result until the end of the game and further posted their triumph of the season. They are currently in the eighth position in the West with having thirteen points in eleven games. Colorado seems to be dead last with having just two points in the same number of matches.
