UFC president Dana White announced full fight cards for June 20 and 27 on ESPN 11 and 12

In their recent announcement UFC has declared their plans for the next events set to be held on June 20 and 27.

The president of the UFC Dana White reveals main cards for UFC on ESPN 11 and 12 featuring two major fights and many more events.

The Blaydes vs. Volkov match will be featured on the UFC on ESPN 11, or UFC on ESPN on June 20th. This particular fight between Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov is set to be the main event of the night. Whoever wins the match will gain a massive heads up to become a title-challenger in the upcoming championship.

According to Dana Frederick White Jr., The Predator, Frances Ngannou who has recently defeated Jairzinho Roznestruik in just 20 seconds into the match, is the No.1 on the challenger’s list. As he has already won against Curtis Blaydes, it gives him a great advantage in the upcoming event.

After his defeat, Blaydes won three matches in a row with his last win being in January this year where he TKOd Junior Dos Santos. Volkov also recovered after losing against Derrick Lewis by defeating Greg Hardy via unanimous decision. Rest of the fights of the main event follows:

Women’s Bantamweight Raquel Pennington vs. Marion Reneau
Welterweight Lyman Good vs. Belal Muhammad
Featherweight Josh Emmett vs. Shane Burgos
Catchweight (160 lbs) Jim Miller vs. Roosevelt Roberts

The Poirier vs. Hooker fight will be featured on the UFC on ESPN 12 or UFC on ESPN as the highlight of the second main event.

After winning against powerful fighters like Eddie Alvarez, Anthony Pettis, Max Holloway, and Justin Gaethje, Former lightweight interim champion Dustin Poirier faced defeat in his last bout against Khabib Nuramgomedov in September last year. Meantime Dan ‘The Hangman’ Hooker shows great potential with seven wins out of eight matches under his belt.
