Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has said she “doesn’t love acting that much” after she realized movie making is not her thing anymore.

The talented actress has big-screen credits for playing the character of Pepper Potts in the Marvel films, featuring as Ironman’s wife for the last five years.

She said she lost her interest in direction after winning an Oscar in 1999 for the movie ‘Shakespeare in Love’. She added “part of the shine of acting wore off” due to the “intense public scrutiny”.

Another thing that made her question “if this is really my calling”, is having “a really rough boss” in Harvey Weinstein.

The last lead role which was played by this actress was a feature film, named Mortdecai in 2015. She acted opposite Johnny Depp in that movie.

Her last significant character was Pepper Potts in ‘Avengers-Infinity War’, ‘Avengers- Endgame’ and ‘Spider-man: Homecoming’.

Gwyneth has also appeared in the Netflix series called ‘The Politician’ and ‘The Goop Lab’. It is about the controversial lifestyle brand that she launched in 2008.

Some of her other performances in films like ‘The Talented Mr Ripley’, ‘Shallow Hal’, ‘Proof’ and ‘Contagion’ showed some significant talent and skill of this well-seasoned actress.

She put up some light on her career and perspective by saying “I think that when you hit the bullseye when you’re 26 years old and you’re a metrics-driven person who frankly doesn’t love acting that much as it turns out… It wasn’t like I felt like this isn’t worth doing, I felt like, well now who am I supposed to be? What am I driving towards?”.

The actress had experienced some wrong influence from the Miramax company’s producer Weinstein who was accused of casting couch later. With the help of Brad Pitt, the producer is serving 23 years of prison right now.
