The fans of the most hyped game of PlayStation 4, Spider-Man, are in for a treat with a sequel according to the latest Reddit rumor. The news has created a huge buzz among the gaming world right now.

Some sources supposedly leaked this piece of information on Reddit recently. It gives detailed information on its release during Holiday 2021 on the PlayStation 5. Though the post had been deleted by the user it already gave us a clear view that Spider-Man sequel on PlayStation 5 might feature Venom, Mysterio, Black Suit Spidey, and much more.

The original post also gives us some more information on several cut scenes, especially a video chat between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson conversing about the happenings around them. Peter has resumed his role as a photographer at the Daily Bugle with J. Jonah Jameson as editor-in-chief of the newspaper.

Keeping the post-credit of the previous game in mind, it is quite obvious that Venom will play a vital role in this game and Eddie Brock will also be a significant part of the storyline.

In this universe, Harry Osborn is the current host body of the Venom Symbiote which causes him and Peter to come face to face in a conflict. But soon the Symbiote becomes more interested in Spider-Man after witnessing his power which escalates the creation of the famous black suit from the comics.

The Venom suit can be switched on and off as per the player’s desire just like in Spider-Man Web of Shadows. And with varieties of Spidey suits that have symbiote alternatives the game reaches the ultimate heights. Like the previous game, players can choose different paths along the storyline which will have a huge impact on the narrative.

Besides the intense fight between Mysterio and Peter, there would be a racing minigame with Human Torch from the Fantastic 4 and some side missions featuring Daredevil.

It is also disclosed that players will have the option of controlling Miles Morales as Spider-Man in the game with multiple suit choices. As the post-credits showed a combat scene with Spider-Man and Miles joining forces to take down a group of villains, there is a possibility that players can switch between one Spider-Man to the other following the same technique used in Batman Arkham Knight.

As long as Insomniac or Sony does not make an official statement, these revelations are to be treated as mare rumors and nothing else.
