Cardi B is Pregnant for the Second Time: Rapper Reveals Exciting Pregnancy News during Her BET Performance

Rapper Cardi B revealed her second pregnancy on Sunday night during the BET Awards which was held in Los Angeles.

The rapper took the stage with Migos in a blinged-out, one-piece outfit with a mesh cut-out that proudly showed off her pregnant belly.

She already has a 2-year-old daughter named Kulture with her husband Offset, who is part of the group Migos. The couple married in 2017.

Cardi B is not the only performer to debut her pregnancy during an awards show performance. Immediately following her performance of “Love on Top” at the 2011 Video Music Awards, Beyoncé unbuttoned her jacket to rub her own belly. She would later give birth to her first child with Jay Z, daughter Blue Ivy, in early 2012.

Cardi B was nominated for five awards at this year’s BET Awards: Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration (“WAP” ft. Megan Thee Stallion), Video of the Year (“WAP” and “Up”), and Viewer’s Choice Award (“WAP”). She won an award at the BET taking home the award for video of the year for “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

Cardi B did not come on stage to accept, but Megan noted \ the popularity of the song in her speech and thanked fans for making it a hit. She said that “They was in front of the White House singing ‘WAP’!”

Cardi B and offset goy married secretly in 2017 before splitting up in 2018 right after she gave birth to their first child. The couple has been in an on-and-off relationship since that time. However, the pregnancy might bring them closer than ever before, as speculated by fans and well-wishers.

The news came unexpectedly from the rapper herself and so, social media was fast to react to that.

She also made the news official on Instagram by sharing a picture and captioning it “#2!’. The father of her child, Offset, 29 also has a daughter, Kalea who is six, and sons Kody and Jordan who are 6 and 11 respectively from previous relationships.
